Information for callers
You called a business and spoke with a RingBrio AI assistant. What happens to your call?
You spoke with an AI assistant
Many businesses use RingBrio to answer the phone when they can't. The assistant is an AI, not a person. It says so at the start of the call.
The business you called decides what the assistant knows and may do, and is responsible for your data. RingBrio (Lekasoft) processes it on that business's behalf.
What happens to your call
- Your call is transcribed and summarised, so the business knows what you need. The business gets the transcript and the summary.
- The audio is processed by a speech AI during the call and not stored afterwards, unless the business turned recording on.
- Your phone number, and what you mention (such as your name or a booking), go into the business's overview.
- If you book, you get a confirmation and a reminder by text or email.
- After a call you may get one text from the number you called. To stop texts, reply STOP.
The transcript is deleted after the business's retention period (90 days by default). The parties that help us are listed under sub-processors.
Your rights
To see or delete your data, contact the business you called. If that doesn't work, email support@ringbrio.com with the number you called and the time. We then pass your request on and help the business.
Rather not talk to an AI? Ask the assistant for a callback, or call the business again later.
